How is Summit different from a management consultant?
Consultants advise. We operate. Summit advisors own function-level outcomes inside your company — attending your leadership meetings, working in your tools, and accountable to the same metrics as your full-time team.
What size company is the best fit?
We typically work with companies between $2M and $30M ARR. You need enough complexity that operations are a real constraint, but enough flexibility that a fractional leader can make meaningful impact quickly.
How long does it take to see results?
Most clients see measurable operational changes within the first 30 days. The first two weeks are onboarding and assessment; by week three we’re making changes.
Do I need a full-time COO or just better processes?
Often both — but usually in that order. We’ll tell you honestly in the discovery call which problem you actually have. Many clients start with a Scaling Sprint and upgrade to Fractional COO once they see the model work.
How does billing work?
Monthly invoices for ongoing engagements, net 30. Sprint engagements are billed 50% at kickoff, 50% at delivery. Custom due diligence projects are milestone-billed.
Can we work with you remotely?
Yes — most engagements are primarily remote with 1–2 on-site weeks per quarter. We work inside Slack, Notion, and whatever tools your team already uses.
